What You Might Expect

It’s not hard to believe that is made up of the most travel-savvy people in the world. We asked our global team to share their favorite spots in Chicago so you can start planning your trip to GlobalLink NEXT!

1. Take a selfie at the Bean
Follow these tips to snap an insta-worthy pic at Chicago’s most visited landmark at Millennium Park.
2. Dive into a deep dish pizza
Chicago’s pizza claim to fame is often debated, check out the city’s top-rated pizzerias for an oozing slice (or two) of deep dish heaven.
3. Hop on the Chicago Architecture River Cruise
All aboard, architecture lovers! Cruise down the Chicago River to see the city’s famous skyscrapers and distinct skyline. Purchase your tickets here.
4. See “da Cubs” play at Wrigley Field
After breaking a 107-year drought, the Cubs are reigning World Series champions. Get your peanuts and crackerjacks and head to iconic Wrigley Field to see the home team—well, one of the home teams—take on the Cincinnati Reds.
5. Grab a cocktail at swanky rooftop
Don’t let the ‘Windy City’ stop you from enjoying a drink at two of our favorite rooftops: J. Parker and Cindy’s Rooftop.
6. Bike the Lakefront Trail and visit Navy Pier
Work off the pizza and cocktails (no regrets!) by biking the 18-mile stretch of Chicago’s scenic lakefront. Stop by Navy Pier for free live music and fireworks.
7. Spend a morning at the museums
Experience the city’s world-class museum scene by visiting these top picks: The Art Institute of Chicago, The Field Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art, and Museum of Science and Industry.
8. Catch a Broadway show or movie in the park
Broadway smash Hamilton hits the stage in September. Score tickets—and bragging rights—here.
9. Find your inner animal at the Lincoln Park Zoo
As one of the country’s last free, a visit to Lincoln Park is a no-brainer. Fun fact: The zoo’s first purchase was a bear cub for $10 in 1874. The bear pit was built in 1879, but they learned how to climb out and would regularly roam at night.
10. Charter a trolley for a VIP party or bar crawl
Tour ChiTown in your own private trolley, experiencing the best of the city’s nightlife. Head out on your own watch or have a driver help design your night. Either way, it’s a great way to maximize your time in Chicago.
