GlobalLink NEXT will begin in the morning and the program will end around 17:00. Breakfast and lunch will be served, and there will also be a cocktail hour for networking at the end of the day.

    Attendees of this session can expect a demo of the OneLink proxy solution for managing global websites, an overview of recent feature enhancements and an outline of new product functionality that will be available over the next 12 months.

    11:30 – 12:00 TransPort Roadmap

    TransPort Roadmap attendees will view a demo and walkthrough of TransPort, a recap of new features deployed in 2016 and preview new functionality that will be rolled out over the next 12 months.

    This presentation will feature a current client to discuss real-life challenges and solutions in the GlobalLink world.

    14:00 – 14:30 Which GlobalLink Am I?

    With multiple GlobalLink solutions available to help clients manage their global content, it can sometimes be confusing for those new to multilingual content to determine which product or products will best serve their needs. During this session, attendees will see typical use cases for each product and have the ability to ask questions about which product would drive the most efficiencies based on their content, internal structure and overall business goals. This session is intended for attendees who are considering GlobalLink for the first time, or if you are curious about how other GlobalLink products can supplement your current technology suite.

    14:00 – 14:30 Project Director 5.0 Workshop

    Designed for existing users, this session will provide a detailed look at how to utilise some of the advanced features and functionality of Project Director.

    14:30 – 15:00 Supply Chain Management in Project Director

    Did you know that Project Director can be used to manage multiple vendors and resources from a single platform? This session will provide a detailed look at how Project Director can be the central hub to coordinate all of your translation requirements across any set of translators (internal or external) to dramatically reduce project management, time to market and overall costs.

    14:30 – 15:00 Using GlobalLink with Machine Translation

    Machine translation (MT) is fast becoming a more accepted resource based on recent advances in overall quality. This session will provide an overview of different use cases for MT, available MT options and how MT can be integrated into GlobalLink to provide a seamless and efficient experience for applicable content.

    15:00 – 15:30 OneLink Central Workshop

    This session will be a deep dive into OneLink’s proxy technology for managing global websites and also give attendees a more hands-on experience of working with new features and functionality associated with the OneLink Central dashboard.

    15:00 – 15:30 Translation Editors Current and Future

    The way in which translators interact with content has changed dramatically over the last few years. This session will provide an overview on how GlobalLink is changing the game when it comes to making the translation process more efficient, and show how we are optimising the experience for individual translators. It will also provide a preview of new functionality for our translation editor tools that will be released over the next 12 months.

    15:30 – 16:00 Enterprise Reporting in GlobalLink

    Enterprise reporting is a key component to effectively using technology to manage global translation efforts. This session will focus on the types of reporting available in GlobalLink to track KPIs including costs, efficiency, cost savings, translation memory usage and other criteria that is critical to your business.

    15:30 – 16:00 GlobalLink Connect Overview

    GlobalLink features integrations into more third-party systems than any other TMS platform. This session will highlight a few key integration use cases and outline the benefits of integration versus a manual submission process. Custom integration options will also be a topic of discussion related to GlobalLink’s API.

What does the cost of registration include?

The GlobalLink NEXT registration fee covers admission to all sessions, breakfast, lunch and the evening cocktail hour.

Is there a dress code?

Business casual attire is recommended for all GlobalLink NEXT sessions and events in Barcelona.

May I bring a guest?

We encourage GlobalLink NEXT attendees to invite colleagues to also register for the conference. Space is limited for this event, so we suggest securing all spots as soon as possible.
